Family Day (23 Sep 2006)

On this Saturday morning, we popped by Phyllis new home as Papa and Mummy wanted to help her with some stuff. Her new home is really quite cool....a very big house with 3 storeys. She and Sudha are still considering when to move in though. If only they can get a pool table, then we can hang out there every weekend! ;P

Later in the evening, we celebrated my cousin Nicole's birthday at a Chinese restaurant in Yio Chu Kang Grassroots Club. Had quite a fun time playing pool with dear and my other cousins before the dinner. Happy Birthday Nicole!

Ceramic Straightener?! (17 Sep 2006)

Ok, this is probably a bit vain, but I was quite glad I bought this Philips Ceramic Straightener for my hair. Haha.. Really helps when you have a bad hair day...Anywayz, nothing much up this weekend..we did have a jog at Bishan Park and had a good time watching some of the dogs that owners have brought to the dog run. Made me feel like keeping a dog too!

Another celebratory meal (9 Sep 2006)

Dear Dear had some pay increment so we had a celebratory buffet dinner at Grand Corpthorne Hotel...the spread was quite good so go try it out if you like buffets :) Oh yeh, and we both just had our haircut done too. Hehe..

Mum's Birthday (3 Sep 2006)

Celebrating my mum's birthday a day in advance with a lunch at Pinecourt, Mandarin Hotel. The food was great!

Kranji Park & Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve (27 Aug 2006)

Having read some article in the papers during that time about the various parks around Singapore, I was asking dear dear to bring me somewhere this weekend. Hence we ended up at this Kranji Beach Park which was a pretty small place..

Re-living some childhood fun by playing on the see-saw and swing.

With nothing much at Kranji Beach Park, we drove over to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve which was nearby. It's my first time there too...haha..felt a bit 'sua ku' that I've never been to such places before. Thanks Dear for bringing me :)

Baby Shower (20 Aug 2006)

Dear's friend Seah had his first baby son and we attended his first month celebration. Here's the proud Daddy carrying his son, Ryan. Hock Ming sitting next to Seah...

And that's Ryan drinking his milk :)

In Loving Memory.... (9 Aug 2006)

It was late at night on National Day when my first robovoski hamster, Taffy passed away suddenly... I recalled I had quite a shock when I went to check my hamsters' cage and found Taffy lying motionless. Worse still, my 3 other hamsters seem to be sniffing and nibbling her!! I sreamed for dear dear to take her out as I simply could not bear to do so. Sad..Taffy was getting old actually. I guess I was pretty affected by her death as she was my first hamster and also my first pet!

Anyway, these are my remaining 3 hamsters sitting in the wheel: Toofy (bottom left), Toffy (bottom right) and Tiffy (on top). Really glad that they are happy together :)

Pot Luck! (5 Aug 2006)

We kinda had a 'delayed' housewarming where dear dear invited his ALOC friends over to our place for a pot luck lunch. We had quite a nice spread of food and even wine. :)

National Day Parade Preview (29 Jul 2006)

In my photo album, this is actually the first picture that we started with, so I'm going to start our blog from here too. Anyway, that's us at the NDP Preview on 29 Jul 2006. Was fortunate to get grand stand tickets from my uncle. Went to the National Stadium all dressed in Red and White and had a fun time. It has been so long since we've ever attended such an event, so it was quite memorable. Although it was the final preview before the actual day, the atmosphere was still fun and fireworks lovely!

Merry Christmas!

Ok, to be honest, I can't say for sure what made me want to start a blog, because I used to think that it's a bit silly to have one. However, today being Christmas day, I somehow got a bit inspired after looking through this photo album that me and my hubby have started since end July 2006. We have aptly named it Days of our Lives...hence the name of this blog as well :) We kinda started the photo album idea for fun. What we have been doing is to capture some photos of things we did every week and put it into this photo album. I guess, you can say that some day, it would be for our children to see.. Haha...

Anyway, this will therefore be a simple blog just to share with you a little bit of our lives... don't get too bored when you see too many photos of us for now though... ; -)
